Team LIVESTRONG Challenge Davis

The Team LIVESTRONG Challenge Davis is an annual event held just outside Sacramento in Davis, California, starting and ending at Central Park. Participants and volunteers provide support for those affected by cancer by raising funds and awareness for the LIVESTRONG Foundation. The Team LIVESTRONG Challenge Davis also gives back locally. Five percent of the first $1 million raised in donations, and 50 cents of every dollar thereafter, will be given back to the community including the Sacramento Region Community Foundation, to be distributed amongst cancer-related organizations in the area. Team LIVESTRONG Challenge events are fun, community events, not races, and athletes of all levels are welcomed and celebrated. Our events are fully supported and full of the hope and inspiration that has been fueling the cancer fight since 1997. You choose the distance that best suites you: ride 25, 45, 65, or 100 miles. Actual ride distances and courses will be announced in the coming months. All riders are REQUIRED to raise a minimum of $250 to ride in the event.
You can choose to participate individually, or you can start a team with friends or family. Remember, unity is strength and your fundraising efforts go to support the Foundation's programs and services, providing life-saving and life-changing opportunities to cancer survivors and their families. Davis was recently voted one of the most bike-friendly cities in the world. Come ride with us and enjoy the bike-friendly atmosphere.
