Faces of Courage provides different programs for teens and adults diagnosed with cancer. The different programs include day-long adventures and overnight camps. There are specific camps for women of color and teenagers. Each camp has different eligibility requirements that may be viewed in the respective camp description.

Provides hairpieces to financially disadvantage children under the age of 21 who are experiencing long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis. To apply for a hairpiece: click of the “Forms” tab, then click on the “Hairpiece Application”.

Cactus Cancer Society provides a safe space where young adults (ages 18-45) facing cancer can connect, cope, and thrive with one another in an online community through creativity and expression. They want to end isolation for young adults facing cancer.

For those living with cancer, changes that affect roles and relationships in your daily life may be especially challenging. Cancer treatment can cause a change in energy level. Side effects could affect the way you feel about yourself. What is most important to you might change. You may have less time and energy.

Samantha is a Ewing’s sarcoma survivor. She discusses meeting other survivors, getting involved in the cancer community, and aftereffects of cancer treatment.

Kelly lost her twin sister to breast cancer. She talks about genetic testing, what hospice means for caregivers, and working to change cancer public policy.

Hugo is a spinal cord tumor survivor. He talks about his experience with physical rehabilitation, sadness and depression, and survivor guilt.

Eric is a two-time cancer survivor. He talks about changes to his lungs after surgery, meeting other survivors, and living with uncertainty.

Natasha is a Hodgkin’s lymphoma survivor. She discusses relationships with her family, changes to her lungs and heart due to treatment, and spirituality.

Scott is a survivor of a neuroendocrine tumor of the pancreas. He discusses a clinical trial, dating and new relationships, and setting priorities in his life.

Lynne is a rhabdomyosarcoma survivor. She talks about dealing with the aftereffects of radiation, managing chronic cystitis, and preventing osteoporosis.

Tim is a testicular cancer survivor. He discusses losing his mother to lung cancer, dealing with survivor guilt, and out-of-pocket expenses.
